Exposed information included names, email addresses, phone numbers, and encrypted passwords, as well as password reset tokens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Privacy&nbsp;<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Instant Checkmate outlines the information it collects, its intended purposes, and with whom it shares this information in its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instantcheckmate.com\/privacy-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">privacy policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It collects the following personal data:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>User information: <\/strong>Name, email, address, payment details, and demographics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Traffic data: <\/strong>IP address, browser type, device info, pages viewed, referring URLs, and cookies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Third-party data:<\/strong> From social media, credit agencies, financial institutions, public records, and data brokers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Inferred data:<\/strong> Assumptions made about you based on browsing or purchasing behavior.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It also uses government databases, public records, and commercial sources to collect publicly available information for reports.
