Now my \u201cpersonal coach\u201d asks me \u201c how do u think I can help you \u201c. Your the Coach man tell me . Anyways just don\u2019t spend money on it it\u2019s not needed.\u201d&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That said, a number of people say they found NCSA helpful.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For instance, one person said: <em>\u201cNCSA is absolutely legit. People complaining that that it\u2019s a scam either didn\u2019t bother putting in any work of their own, or were never recruitable to begin with. Exposure is exposure, despite acknowledging that the company IS very aggressive and coercive in its sales tactics.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"729\" height=\"142\" src=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ncsaredditlegit.png\" alt=\"Reddit post about NCSA being legit \" class=\"wp-image-18344\" srcset=\"https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ncsaredditlegit.png 729w, https:\/\/joindeleteme.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/ncsaredditlegit-300x58.png 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 729px) 100vw, 729px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Most people recommend creating a free NCSA profile or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/trackandfield\/comments\/1cwmrg5\/has_anyone_had_experience_with_ncsa_college\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">browsing the site<\/a> (without giving away any of your personal information) to learn about how to email coaches.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/trackandfield\/comments\/12impl2\/for_the_love_of_everything_please_dont_waste_your\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to one person<\/a>, creating an NCSA account led to their daughter getting emails from coaches who found her through the NCSA system:\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cWe have a profile, haven&#8217;t spent a dime. We have, however, received email from coaches looking at my daughter via that system. Kid is only a freshmen, so right now&#8230;emails inviting her to camps and site visits. It does link you directly to the university recruitment questionnaires and it also gives you the names of coaches at the schools you look up. For that, free is worth it, even as just an athletic LinkedIn page of sorts.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NCSA is a Better Business Bureau<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbb.org\/us\/fl\/bradenton\/profile\/athletic-organizations\/national-collegiate-scouting-association-llc-0654-7001121\/complaints\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> (BBB) accredited<\/a> organization and holds an \u201cA+\u201d rating. Plus, additional information (optional).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Automatically:<\/strong> IP addresses, browser\/device details, location, and usage patterns (via cookies).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>From third parties:<\/strong> Marketing partners, payment processors, schools, recruiting services, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>NCSA uses this data to provide and improve its services, for marketing and analytics, security and fraud prevention, legal compliance and enforcement, business operations, and user communication.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It may share your data with affiliates, subsidiaries, service providers (including those providing technology, analytics, and customer support), marketing and advertising partners, legal authorities (if required), and buyers in the event of a merger or sale. Simply purchasing a premium plan won\u2019t guarantee results.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, if you&#8217;re already informed, have support, or are targeting lower divisions where personal contact is key, you can probably do just as well on your own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Either way, there\u2019s probably no harm in creating a free NCSA account &#8211; just be ready for hard upselling.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-use-ncsa-safely-and-privately\">How to Use NCSA Safely and Privately<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Start with a free account. <\/strong>Many people say a free NCSA account is worth it. Paid membership tiers get more mixed reviews.<strong> <\/strong>Consider starting with a free NCSA account and upgrading if you believe it could be beneficial to you.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create a strong password. <\/strong>And don\u2019t reuse it elsewhere on the web.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t overshare on your profile. <\/strong>Be selective with the personal details you share in your public NCSA profile.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create a separate email or use a masked email address. <\/strong>This can help you avoid spam.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be selective about the video content you upload. <\/strong>Avoid personal footage and don\u2019t include sensitive background information (e.g., location and school names if not relevant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Don\u2019t overshare in messaging. <\/strong>Avoid giving out personal details unless you\u2019ve verified the coach and school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Watch out for scams. <\/strong>Scammers may pretend to be coaches contacting you through or outside the platform.
